Our Story

Built by Someone Who Has Been Inside These Communities

NestClearly was not built by a tech company looking at manufactured housing from the outside. It was built by an owner and operator who saw — firsthand — how broken the buying and selling process is for the people who actually live in these homes.

Where We Come From

NestClearly was founded by a team with deep roots in manufactured housing. Our founding team spent years working in finance before making the jump into real estate full-time. Over the years, we have been involved in flipping nearly 100 homes and now own and operate mobile home communities across the Midwest.

We are not outsiders looking in. We manage communities directly — the kind where we know the residents, walk the property, and understand what lot rents actually look like. We know what deferred maintenance does to a community. And we know what happens when a homeowner needs to sell and has nowhere to turn.

That experience is exactly what led to NestClearly. We watched homeowners in our own communities struggle to sell their homes — not because the homes were not worth buying, but because the tools and marketplace to connect private sellers with buyers simply did not exist. The platforms that did exist were built for dealers and large operators, not for the family trying to sell a well-maintained double-wide before a cross-state move.

The Problem We Saw — From the Inside

More than 22 million Americans live in manufactured homes. For many, it is the most affordable path to homeownership — and one of the most important financial assets they will ever own.

But when it comes time to buy or sell, the process is broken. Sellers do not know what their home is worth. Buyers cannot find financing. Title transfer rules vary by state and are nearly impossible to navigate without a lawyer. We did not learn this from a market research report. We learned it from managing communities, talking to residents, and watching good people lose money on transactions that should have been straightforward.
